NFL Injury Report
The inactives for the early games are posted at NFL.com. You can access them by clicking here.
Most notably, the two running backs Jackson are active and expected to start. Steven Jackson (groin) will start for the Rams, with Daryl Richardson spelling him. Problem: they're playing Seattle, which is really good against the run.
Fred Jackson will start and play wearing a knee brace. C.J. Spiller (shoulder) is also active and will be used in a change-of-pace role. Guess the Bills weren't too excited about using Tashard Choice extensively.
Other injuries of note:
Nate Kaeding is out. Chargers are replacing him with Nick Novak.
All three of the questionable KC receivers are active and supposedly fine physically. Bowe, Breaston, McCluster. Looks like it will be the usual receiver setup there. They're working against an injury-riddled San Diego secondary.
Mikel Leshoure is active. He should be Detroit's main back.
Dustin Keller (hamstring) is out. So if your league requires you to start a player that nobody has ever heard of, perhaps Konrad Reuland.
San Francisco again lists running backs Brandon Jacobs and LaMichael James inactive. It will be the usual Gore-Hunter setup there.
