Andy Richardson
I'm up to around 240th in this competition, a nice comeback from being squarely in the 500s (out of a thousand or so entrants) after the first couple of weeks. Maurice Jones-Drew and Roddy White are among the guys who have paid off in recent weeks. Let's keep the momentum going, maybe throwing a scare into some of the people in the 100s, shall we?
Quarterbacks: Drew Brees and Matt Ryan. Ryan is on a roll and facing a really bad pass defense in Washington. Brees has no running game or defense and is a shoo-in to break Johnny Unitas' record for consecutive games with a touchdown pass; it's an added bonus that he's facing the team that drafted him and then let him walk.
Running Backs: Arian Foster and Marshawn Lynch. Foster faces the Jets on Monday night, and Ben Tate might be hurt (we'll know more when the team practices). Lynch is Seattle's only weapon against a defense that can't stop the run. I also considered Adrian Peterson.
Wide Receivers: Roddy White, Malcom Floyd and Percy Harvin. All three guys are No. 1s, all three are matched up with horrible secondaries. A.J. Green is another guy I considered and may yet switch to.
Tight Ends: Jimmy Graham and Tony Gonzalez. Benching Rob Gronkowski, just because for one week I like these guys better. I may yet switch one of them out.
Kickers: David Akers and Blair Walsh. I put way more thought into this than was necessary, no doubt. Generally I like decent kickers from home teams facing bad defenses, so Akers and Walsh are up this week.

Andy: I have a few waiver questions. What are your thoughts on the wisdom of trying to claim Bolden in two standard scoring leagues where I have Ridley with the uncertainty of how the geniuses roll from week to week? Vereen is also a FA. Also, in a standard scoring league where Ryan will be on bye in week 7, I need a backup QB. Palmer v Jax and whomever is starting for Ten @ Buf are BA FA IMO. Tebow is also a FA, but who knows how that situation will shake out. Nobody else I like on the wire. I'm looking at claiming Palmer. Does it make sense to do so 2 weeks ahead of time? Drop Ingram or O'Tree (I have more depth @ WR with Garcon hopefully healthy again. Lastly, do you like Minny, Cincy or Atl D better than Arizona or Seattle this week. Thanks much.

Peter - if I had Ridley I would want Bolden. I like Palmer as a Week 7 QB. Ingram and Ogletree are valueless, in my opinion. I have the AZ D highest of those choices. Good luck.

Andy: thank you for continuing to put out quality product. Good luck this week in your efforts to keep climbing up the charts.

Andy, im doing very well in my 12 team standard league even with Romo as my QB. I have Luck as my backup who I am forced to go with this week. I also have Arian Foster and Ben Tate. Another owner has offered me Flacco for Tate which I have been seriously considering. I like Flacco but am hesitant to part with my insurance back in case something happens to Foster. I also have Ridley n Morris, but really count on those big points every week from Arian. Do you think I should make this trade and then maybe pick up Forsett?

Keep Tate. Flacco is not a significant upgrade at QB; you will be fine with Romo/Luck, in my opinion.

Thanks Andy, I appreciate it. I've been sitting on this trade a while. I'm glad to hear I'm not in the minority in still believing in Romo.

I am a little wary of Romo, but if he totally collapses, I think you'll be OK with Luck. We know Indy won't run much or play good defense.
