The fun (or absurd) thing about this SuperLeague competition is that unpredictable choices often pan out. Aaron Rodgers throwing 6 TDs on the road against Houston's strong defense? Unpredictable, but obviously some people called it, because they started Rodgers and cleaned up.
It's a reminder that when in doubt, the superior player in the superior offense often trumps matchup. I started Ben Roethlisberger, who was fine against the Titans, but it's not that surprising that he only threw 1 TD, while a guy like Rodgers -- in an offense that doesn't run the ball -- threw more. Something to keep in mind going forward.
I slipped back into the 200s after my Steelers and Falcons heavy lineup last week. Time for a comeback.
Quarterbacks: Eli Manning and Drew Brees. I can't make a good argument for ever not starting Brees in this competition. Manning is a little risky since he's struggled against Washington in his last four meetings, but this is a very soft pass defense he'll face.
Running Backs: Adrian Peterson and Darren McFadden. I've been burned once or twice by McFadden this year, but I am going to that well one more time. He's a talented guy and it's a great matchup. I like Peterson at home this week to break his touchdown drought.
Wide Receivers: Stevie Johnson, Marques Colston, Victor Cruz. Got burned going against the Titans defense last week, but I am taking my chances with Johnson anyway. Colston is the best and healthiest of New Orleans' receivers. Cruz is a clear No. 1 against a really bad pass defense.
Tight Ends: Aaron Hernandez and Rob Gronkowski. What the hey, let's give this one a try this week.
Kickers: Sebastian Janikowski and Robbie Gould. Home teams with good matchups that should win; that's my rationale with this position.

Andy: I'm not thrilled with either Seattle or Arizona D's this week playing on the road against two top O-Lines (scoring is 2 pts per sack, int and fr and 6 pts per D/ST TD-no points for points or yards allowed). NYJ, NE, CIN, BUF and NYG are FA's and listed in the order of YTD points. Who would your top 2 be out of that group under the scoring system? Thanks much.

Andy: On a bye-ravaged week, would I really be better playing both CJ Spiller and Fred Jackson, rather than Alex Green, in place of Jackson? Thanks for all your help every week.

I picked my team, then I came here to see if you or Ian had put your teams or insights in yet. I started off in the 500's after week 1 and have worked my way up to 7th place, with a low of 140 and a high of 165. I agree with your QB's as they were also my choice, But on RB's I have to go with Foster after seeing the Ravens give up 200 yards Rushing the last 2 weeks in a row and they have lost more players on Defense, and my other RB is the one that is against the Raiders..Maurice Jones-Drew(1st time I have went with him this year. WR: I went with Cruz, I think I take him every week it seems like, and then I had to stick with AJ Green and then I went with Wayne against Cleveland TE: I went with 2 solid ones in Jimmy Graham and Vernon Davis K: I like to have someone on Monday Night and so I went with Gould(In my fantasy league the Lions give up the most kicking points per game) and then also went with Tynes. Let me know what you think

Peter - I've got New England and Buffalo ranked highest. Seattle is also up there right behind those guys, even on the road. Doug, I would probably use Green rather than both Buffalo backs. It's tricky because the values are so similar, I think.

I had Foster initially, just decided to go with AP. MJD is another guy I like this week. Don't think you can count on Graham; he's iffy. I considered Tynes myself.
