Fantasy Index Scheduletron -- strength-of-schedule analysis
The updated strength-of-schedule data appears below. We’ve got it two different ways this week – both wins/losses and also by strength of defenses (points allowed by defenses).
And this is a fantasy site, so we’re leaving out Week 17 – we think the vast majority of leagues are done at that point.
In terms of wins and losses, the easiest schedules belong the Colts and the four teams in the AFC West. The hardest schedules belong to (in order) the Cardinals, Lions, Vikings and Seahawks.
If you want to ignore wins and look instead at defenses (points allowed) the easiest schedules project to belong to those same five teams you see at the top in wins and losses, plus Jacksonville works in there. The hardest (projected hardest, that is) also look similar. In order: Minnesota, San Francisco, Arizona, Seattle and Detroit.
