Around the NFL
It looks like the Raiders are going to use Darren McFadden in a variety of ways. At Saturday’s minicamp practice, they had him lined up at tailback, wide receiver and even quarterback, according to a report by the Associated Press.
We don’t expect to see McFadden extensively at quarterback, but he could see a few plays there. He lined up at that spot often at Arkansas, completing 13 of 20 passes, with 7 TDs, in his final two seasons. So maybe he throws 2 TDs this year with the Raiders.
Also in the article, Lane Kiffin suggests that he intends to use a committee approach at tailback, with Michael Bush and Justin Fargas also involved.
"We're excited they're all different," Kiffin said. "They're very different players and bring different things and we've got to figure it out.”
