Cardinals can't fix offensive line issues

Posted Oct. 31 at 02:23 PM

Gotta love the Green Bay defense this week. It’s got a strong pass rush, and Arizona might have the league’s worst offensive line.

The Cardinals have allowed 39 sacks – 11 more than any other team.

The Packers have 26 sacks, which ties for the most in the league. Sounds like John Skelton will be on the run.

The other defense in this game, by the way, projects to be the 2nd-best sacking team this week. Arizona’s defense is tied with Green Bay’s for 1st in sacks, while the Packers are the team that’s allowed 28. So combined, these teams have been involved in 119 sacks in their 16 games this year.

Arizona is halfway through the season, and it’s on pace to finish with the most sacks allowed by any team since 1997. (That team was also the Cardinals – some things never change.)
