Walsh tapes show nothing new

Posted May. 13 at 12:38 PM

“Spygate” appears to be dead.

Matt Walsh met with commissioner Roger Goodell today, but the eight videotapes he provided contain no new information that would merit additional penalties against the Patriots.

The only surprise on the tapes was extensive closeup footage of the San Diego Chargers cheerleaders, from a 2002 game.

There’s an article on today’s development in the New York Times.
