Peterson and Rice, that's nice

Posted Nov. 07 at 07:36 AM

Electricity issues prevented me from bragging about my Week 8 lineup, which put up 158 points and ranked 64th overall. (Well, delayed, not prevented.) Week 9 was just so-so (too many Eagles), but I remain in the top 180 overall. Let's move on to Week 10 as I again try to climb into double digits.

Quarterbacks: Drew Brees and Matt Ryan. Yes, they're facing each other, and yes I considered Peyton Manning. But this has all the makings of a wild shootout and I can't figure out which quarterback I like more.

Running Backs: Adrian Peterson and Ray Rice. Why get cute with these spots? Superlatives fail with Peterson at this point, and Rice is at home in a favorable matchup. Stevan Ridley was a consideration, as was Doug Martin.

Wide Receivers: Eric Decker, Victor Cruz, Reggie Wayne. Not much to say. Cruz is the clear No. 1 against a bad secondary, as is Wayne. Manning is forcing balls to Decker all over the place.

Tight Ends: Rob Gronkowski and Jimmy Graham. Gronk destroys Buffalo time and time again. Graham is healthy.

Kickers: David Akers and Shaun Suisham. Home teams, easy wins. That's enough for me.
