Manning falls at home in playoffs -- again

Posted Jan. 16 at 11:04 AM

It’s always a surprise when you see a great quarterback lose at home in the playoffs. When a team is a favorite, playing at home and has a great passer, you expect them to take care of business.

So it’s surprising that Peyton Manning has now fallen at home 5 times in playoff games. That’s 2 more losses at home in playoff games than any other quarterback in league history.

Only two quarterbacks have started at least 5 games at home in the playoffs and have losing records. Randall Cunnningham and Warren Moon are both 2-3 at home in the postseason. Manning has the worst home record in the postseason among all quarterbacks who’ve started more than five games.
