Around the NFL
Selvin Young isn’t short on confidence. He says he not only sees himself beating out Travis Henry, but he thinks he could run for 2,000 yards.
It’s in a column by Charean Williams in today’s Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
"People call me crazy," Young said. "I got a lot of laughs, too, but I really think it's in me. I feel comfortable. I've gotten adjusted to this altitude. With that alone, I should be able to take more snaps a game. And it seems like they want to do a lot more things with me."
A committee approach is more likely. Mike Shanahan says he likes Young but thinks his touches need to be limited.
"He will wear down; he's not a big guy,” the Denver coach said.
