Burress wants new contract

Add Plaxico Burress to the list of players fishing for a new contract.

Burress was present but declined to participate in the Giants’ mandatory practice on Wednesday, and says he’s not going to practice until he gets a new contract.

"Me and my agent are trying to get a deal done so I can stay a New York Giant for a long time," Burress is quoted as saying in an Associate Press story. "I, personally, don't like the way they're going and I am not happy about it. I am choosing not to participate."
