Taylor and Jones-Drew are a nice combo

Posted Jul. 13 at 08:57 PM

The Jaguars have gotten nice mileage out of the tag-team combination of Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew over the last two years. Since drafting Jones-Drew in 2006, Jacksonville leads the league in rushing at 154 yards per game.

And using those backs as a one-two punch has helped to keep both healthy, effective and explosive. The below chart shows each of the 35 running backs who've carried the ball at least 300 times in the past two years. But rather than being ordered by yards of production, the players are in order by average yards per rushing attempt. The two Jacksonville running backs come out on top.
