Around the NFL
Steve Smith and Chris Henry are already on the shelf for the start of the season. Brandon Marshall likely will join them today.
Various reports are indicating that the league will suspend Marshall for at least two games, and that it will be announced today.
Marshall has been involved in a series of incidents and arrests over the past year, including a domestic violence incident in March.
Adam Schefter of the NFL Network indicates that Marshall will be suspended for two or three games, depending on whether he agrees to undergo counseling.
There’s a story on the looming suspension at The Denver Post.
