Is there a new quarterback-receiver tandem ready to rise in the AFC North? That’s what Mike Prisuta of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review thinks. He notes that Ben Roethlisberger and Santonio Holmes have hooked up for touchdowns in each of the Steelers’ first two preseason games.
Holmes is entering his third year; he could be ready to break out. Nobody doubts that he has excellent speed, and the team’s other main wide receiver – Hines Ward – doesn’t have the wheels to score longer range touchdowns.

I like Santonio Holmes a lot this year. But before getting too excoted about Big Ben - have you noticed the starting QBs box scores this preseason? I see a lot of 9 for 11 for 154 yards and 1-2 TDs, or something very similar. Trent Edwards, T-Jackson, Drew Brees, Jay Cutler, Big Ben, Shaub, Brees, Favre...
