Around the NFL
One of the hottest wide receivers could face a league suspension – again.
Brandon Marshall, who was suspended by the NFL for the season opener, has been hit with two additional charges in connection with a domestic violence complaint from six months ago.
This is one of the incidents that caused Marshall to be suspended for the team’s first game (he originally was suspended for two-three games, but it was reduced to one game after an appeal).
While the charges are new, however, league spokesman Greg Aiello indicates that they could potentially result in Marshall facing new sanctions from the league.
"We have been aware of these potential charges," Aiello said. "We will continue to monitor the case and review it under our policy as appropriate."
