Fantasy News
Now that we're nearing the midway point of the season, strength of schedule information becomes more meaningful. Using current data -- how teams are performing -- we can get an idea of which teams are benefitting (and being hurt by) scheduling.
STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE -- WINS (REMAINING)
Based on the way teams are currently playing, the Colts, Dolphins and Bucs project to play the easiest schedules the rest of the way, while the Lions, Cowboys and Giants should have the hardest schedules.
That's what the numbers say, anyway. Indianapolis' next eight games are against teams with a combined win-loss record of 22-36. The Giants, on the other hand, have a lot of hard games left -- 38-22.
Most fantasy leagues are done prior to week 17, so those numbers aren't included.

STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE -- SCORING (REMAINING)
The Dolphins, Rams and Bucs project to face the softest defenses the rest of the way, while the Ravens, Cowboys and Lions project to face the hardest defenses.
That's what the numbers project. Miami's next seven games, on average, are against defenses allowing an average of 26.0 points per game. It's hardly fair, but the winless Lions' next eight games are against opponents allowing an average of only 20.7 points per game.
Most fantasy leagues are done prior to week 17, so those numbers aren't included.

STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE -- WINS (SO FAR)
Looks like the Jets, Patriots, Bills and Titans have benefitted the most from easy schedules so far, while the Rams, Jaguars and Bengals have played the hardest schedules.
Tennessee's seven games, for example, have been against teams that have gone a combined 17-26 (and that doesn't include their games against the Titans -- throw those in and they're 17-33).
At the other end of the spectrum, you've got the Rams, Cardinals, Bucs and Chargers -- they appear to be teams that could come on in the second half of the season (since they've been held back by tough schedules).
