The Cincinnati Bengals have deactivated Chad Johnson (aka Chad Ocho Cinco) for tonight's game against the Steelers, due to an unspecified rules violation. The story from the team's web site can be seen right here.
In his absence, the most likely starter would be Chris Henry; the team's normal third receiver, Antonio Chatman, was placed on injured reserve with a neck injury this week.
Henry has plenty of talent; he might reasonably perform about as well as Johnson would have. Very tough matchup, with the Steelers No. 2 against the pass, but given that they're even tougher against the run, Henry could put up serviceable numbers; the team has to move the ball somehow. Johnson caught a season-high 8 passes (albeit for only 52 yards) and scored in the week 7 meeting in Cincinnati, won by the Bengals, 38-10.
