I said in the comments section after my last column that I wasn't looking forward to writing this one. Here's why:

I keep resisting the suggestion that owning cheaper (platoon) running backs with more expensive receivers is smarter than owning top-dollar RBs with cheapo WRs....

Rutgers running back Ray Rice looked like he fell into an unfortunate situation when he was drafted by the Ravens in the second round last April. Baltimore, after all, already had a feature back in Willis McGahee, so Rice probably wouldn't play much his rookie season....
