Draft Date: August 27th
Draft will be in the Fremont, CA area. Live Auction draft (run on yahoo), starting around 7pm. $100 league fee with a $20 penalty for the last place team payable to the team with most points scored for the year. Looking for active owners that aren't afraid of a little trash talk. First year for this auction league, but the core group has been in a standard draft league for a decade. Draft will be online through yahoo. If you have never done an auction format, it is a blast. The auction part is only for the draft and after that it becomes like any normal league. We use a basic yardage/points format. None of us do this for a living and we have a small $25 entry fee which is all paid out in prizes to give a little more fun to it. I am interested in starting a league via the internet. The league would be on NFL.com and would consist of 10 teams. Cost would be $50 per team, which $350 would go to the champion and $150 would go to second place. Anyone interested email me, and collectively we could establish rules and scoring. Thought it would be cool to have a league with people from all over the country instead of just my friends from Pittsburgh. So instead of paying someone else to do an internet league we can do it free on NFL.com and use all the cash to go for prize money.Posted: Aug. 03 at 02:30 PM
