Colts will franchise Pat McAfee

The Colts will use the franchise tag on Pat McAfee. I don't think that's a surprise.

McAfee isn't a big-name guy. Most of us probably wouldn't recognize him if he were to walk by in the grocery store. But he's a weapon. He's a good punter, and he's one of the top handful of kickoff guys in the league (allowing the Colts to use Adam Vinatieri as their kicker - Vinatieri struggles on kickoffs).

In the last five years, McAfee has averaged over 67 yards on kickoffs four times. The rest of the league combined has done this only 19 times in the same time period (McAfee is the only guy at four).
