New York's rebuilt backfield

Over the last three years, 94 running backs around the league have carried the ball at least 100 times. Ten of those backs have averaged over 4.8 yards per carry.

Only one team currently holds the rights to two of those backs: the Jets. Sounds odd, but they traded for Chris Ivory and signed Mike Goodson. Those backs haven't played much, but they've been productive when they've been out there.

I'm not saying this is the NFL's next great tailback tandem, but the Jets might not be as bad at this position as some people think. In New Orleans, Chris Ivory was a lot better than Mark Ingram. Ingram may be a former first-round pick with a Heisman, but when you put them on the field, Ivory plays a lot better.
