The Colts have one of the game's best young quarterbacks, so the young receivers on the roster have strong fantasy (especially dynasty) appeal. Reggie Wayne is old, and Darrius Heyward-Bey has been an underachiever. That makes T.Y. Hilton and LaVon Brazill particularly compelling to those trying to line up Andrew Luck's next top target.
But Brazill will start out this season behind the eight ball, following a four-game suspension for violating the league's policy on substance abuse.. Not that the former sixth-round pick can't come back from that, but it's not the way to kick off his second season in the league.
The Indianapolis Star reporter at the linked article even speculates that Brazill's roster spot could be in jeopardy. That seems unlikely, but it does raise the possibility that somebody could slip past Brazill in the pecking order.
Another, perhaps more likely possibility, is that Indianapolis' young breakout could come from a different position. Tight end Coby Fleener didn't do much as a rookie, but both he and inline tight end Dwayne Allen are breakout candidates. The team should employ a lot of two-tight end sets, with Fleener having more downfield potential.
