The Packers, Colts and Giants were the best teams at running the ball at the goal line last year. Most effective, anyway. They were the three teams that scored on only 72 percent of their running plays from either the 1- or 2-yard line.
The Browns, Saints, Titans and Texans, meanwhile, were the worst teams in that part of the field. Those were the four teams that scored on less than a third of their carries.
