Had a couple of requests to update the offensive line rankings from the magazine. We develop these rankings by assigning a grade to each starter at each position on the line, then see what the numbers tell us. You can see the full breakdown on our Facebook page.
The notable risers since the magazine came out include the Saints, who re-signed veteran center Jonathan Goodwin; the Browns, who appear to have a keeper in rookie guard Joel Bitonio; and the Seahawks, who are getting solid play out of James Carpenter at left guard.
Notable fallers include the Colts, Buccaneers, Raiders and Giants. Some new players aren't working out, some have gotten hurt, and some investments or decisions just look like mistakes. The Falcons have lost their left tackle and slot in at the bottom, but we had them pretty low even prior to that injury.
Again, check our Facebook page for our assessments of the individual starters at each position.
