We're at Week 8, and I remain outside the top 100 in this season-long competition. I've been better of late, but not good enough. Mistakes, like not submitting lineups in time for Thursday points bonanzas, have been made. But I'm moving on, and feeling good about this week.
The rules are simple. Pick 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 2 TEs, and 2 PKs each week. Highest point total from that starting lineup wins the week.

Quarterbacks: Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning. Nothing out of the ordinary here. Manning can't be stopped. Rodgers faces the Saints. There are actually several really good quarterback options this week, but I'll ride with these two without regret. And I damn well will get my lineup in before Thursday night.
Running Backs: Jamaal Charles and Marshawn Lynch. I could also use Joique Bell if Reggie Bush seems iffy for this game. Charles is home against the Rams. Lynch is at a very soft Carolina defense. Their teams should dominate on the ground and win, and Charles will be a big part of the passing game, too.
Wide Receivers: Jordy Nelson is an easy choice the way the Packers are passing the ball right now. Demaryius Thomas has to be in lineups. And I think Dez Bryant against Washington should be really good.
Tight Ends: Antonio Gates and Greg Olsen. Seattle has been much worse against tight ends than wide receivers. Gates has been on a roll and I like him against Denver. If I go a little more conservative it will be either Jordan Cameron or Rob Gronkowski. Things get interesting when you can't just stick Jimmy Graham in each week.
Kickers: Stephen Gostkowski has to be in lineups this week. I'm scouring for another kicker in my leagues because I don't want to use Nick Novak at Denver (Chargers will need touchdowns, not field goals) and am looking at Dan Bailey or Chandler Catanzaro.
Good luck to all of you.
