Sometimes you zig when you should have zagged, or zag when you should have zigged. I picked the wrong week to not use Rob Gronkowski, for example, and the wrong week to go all in on guys like Jordy Nelson and Greg Olsen.
Now it's time for the Week 9 lineup, made more difficult by six teams being on bye. If this league had defenses, I would definitely be going with Kansas City and Cincinnati. Just so's you know.
The rules are simple. Pick 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 2 TEs, and 2 PKs each week. Highest point total from that starting lineup wins the week.

Quarterbacks: Andrew Luck and Peyton Manning. Both quarterbacks are on the road, which is a negative, facing credible opposition. But these guys are the best right now, and I like them more than Drew Brees on the road or Tom Brady facing a good Denver defense.
Running Backs: Marshawn Lynch and Arian Foster. Lynch should have a field day with the lowly Raiders in town. Foster, I just love to watch the guy play, and he's facing an Eagles defense he should be able to run on, or catch the ball against, or both.
Wide Receivers: Antonio Brown, Dez Bryant, Kelvin Benjamin. I'm not sure about the Benjamin pick, and when I forget to get my lineup in before the Thursday game, I'll go with someone else. But he's facing the Saints, who aren't very good. Brown is awesome, Dez faces Arizona's very soft pass defense.
Tight Ends: Antonio Gates and Julius Thomas. Gates faces Miami, which struggles against tight ends. Thomas is due, and New England might focus on Denver's wide receiving Thomas.
Kickers: Phil Dawson and Steven Hauschka. Home against bad defenses, the Rams and Raiders.
Good luck to all of you.
