Week 12 Super League

I had another decent week last week, exactly the kind of week that keeps me from slipping below 150 in the overall rankings while also keeps me from sneaking into the top 100. Early-season mistakes have left me in a hole simply too deep to dig my way out of. I'm OK with that, because winning one week will make it all worthwhile. This, my friends, is that week.

The rules are simple. Pick 2 QBs, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 2 TEs, and 2 PKs each week. Highest point total from that starting lineup wins the week.

Quarterbacks: Aaron Rodgers and Drew Brees. Rodgers faces the Vikings, that's an easy call. He's great, and I'm thinking they might have had a few distractions this week. Brees faces the Ravens, and that's not an entirely ideal situation. But they're very tough to run on, and just lost their best cornerback, so I'm thinking Brees will be more productive than you might expect this week.

Running Backs: LeSean McCoy and DeMarco Murray. I nailed it with LeVeon Bell against the Titans last week, so here I go again with McCoy. Murray against the Giants' sad run defense is also very easy on the eyes. I strongly considered Jamaal Charles against the Raiders and Matt Forte against the Bucs.

Wide Receivers: Jordy Nelson, T.Y. Hilton and Sammy Watkins. Slightly off the beaten path here. Not with Nelson, who I've been pretty much starting every week. But Hilton is due and faces the Jaguars, and Watkins tore up the Jets in the last meeting and should do so again. I might switch to one of the Bears' wideouts against Tampa Bay, or even Mike Evans in that same game, but this looks good to me right now.

Tight Ends: Rob Gronkowski and Jimmy Graham. Really don't see much profit in going away from these guys. Nobody can handle a healthy Gronk. Graham's best games were quiet games for Brandin Cooks, who's now out for the year, so I like him to be busy against Baltimore.

Kickers: Adam Vinatieri and Mason Crosby. Again, kickers from two of the league's absolute best offenses in games they should win. Can't go wrong with either of these guys.

Good luck to all of you.
