Detroit Lions

Detroit on track to have one of best all-time run defenses

We’re in an age where offenses keep putting up better and better numbers. But Detroit’s defense has been unusually good against the run.

Still a game to go, but there’s an outside chance the Lions will become just the third team to allow under 1,000 rushing yards in a season (in a 16-game season). More realistically, they’ll be the one of the top 5 run defenses over 16 games.
