Good thing for the Packers and Cowboys that they’re not playing until Sunday. The expected high in Green Bay tomorrow is 8 degrees. It’s 1 degree right now. It will cold on Sunday, but not unusually cold.
The current forecast (of the National Weather Service) is for a high of 18 degrees on Sunday, with winds of about 6 mph. There will be no snow. That game’s kicking off at noon Central time, so it should be 16-18 degrees for essentially the entire game. Cold, but it’s not going to be another Ice Bowl.
The rundown on the other games:
BALTIMORE at NEW ENGLAND
Weather should be pretty similar to what the Cowboys and Packers will get. Cold, but not unusually cold. The expected high is 22 degrees, with an overnight low of 10 degrees. Winds around 10 mph.
Not great weather, but it might not be much of a factor. Tom Brady has been a good poor-weather quarterback in the past.
CAROLINA at SEATTLE
Weather shouldn’t be a factor. The expectation is for temperatures in the low to mid 40s, with a 40 percent chance of rain. Mild winds.
INDIANAPOLIS at DENVER
Weather won’t be a factor. High of 44 degrees, winds around 5 mph, with a 20 percent chance of rain in the afternoon.
