Jordan Reed has had some nice things said about him by Jay Gruden lately, and indeed he's been a solid receiver for Washington -- when healthy. Health has been the issue, with him missing at least five games in each of his first two seasons.
Those with larger fantasy rosters could consider drafting Reed to be a starting tight end and then maybe tossing a last-round pick at Niles Paul. One of those players should be pretty productive every week.
A year ago, the two combined for nearly 90 receptions and close to 1,000 total receiving yards. Reed missed nearly six entire games, and Paul had good numbers in nearly all of those contests.
One disappointment: just 1 TD for the pair. But in leagues awarding a point per reception, whoever starts should be pretty valuable.
Week-by-week numbers for Washington's main tight end last season are presented below.
