The Ravens got down to 53 players like everyone else yesterday, but they might not be done. They look pretty thin at running back with only Justin Forsett and Javorius Allen as far as healthy options. Lorenzo Taliaferro has a knee injury and will miss some time.
This article in the Baltimore Sun speculates they might add another running back, tossing out former Patriot Jonas Gray as a speculative possibility. That would be interesting, and would give them an inside running complement to Justin Forsett.
But Gray might not be healthy; perhaps that was a factor in New England's surprising decision to cut him.
Regardless, it seems likely the team will add someone else to carry the ball. There are other serviceable runners available. If they don't, it might signify that Taliaferro's injury isn't too bad, and they expect to have him available early on in the season.
Interesting as roster cutdown day annually is, the next day is often even more interesting. That's when you find out how much teams like other teams' cuts.
