Carson Palmer has a tough matchup this week, and not just because the Rams are the team he blew his knee out against last season. The game's in St. Louis, and that's a defense that's done a pretty nice job against opposing quarterbacks at home.
Only one of five visiting quarterbacks has thrown more than 1 TD; three of five didn't throw any. Four of those guys took at least 3 sacks. Palmer's better than most of those opposing passers, but it's a solid history defending visiting quarterbacks.
Maybe the Rams have slipped; Jay Cutler lit them up last game, although a couple of those were short throws where his receivers did most of the heavy lifting. In any case, not an ideal situation for Palmer to put up big numbers.
