The Giants are in Minnesota this week, and it's a really good defense that Eli Manning will face. Minnesota is ranked 7th against the pass, and Russell Wilson is the only quarterback to throw more than 2 TDs against this defense. Pending an appeal, Manning will be working without Odell Beckham Jr., too.
That said, the good, Manning-level quarterbacks the Vikings have faced have tended to put up respectable numbers against them. Not 300 yards and 3-4 TDs good, but mostly solid. Four of seven had above-average yards, and all of them threw at least 2 TDs. Here are the numbers.
| GOOD QUARTERBACKS AGAINST MINNESOTA | ||
|---|---|---|
| Player | Yards | TDs |
| Matthew Stafford | 286 | 2 |
| Philip Rivers | 246 | 2 |
| Matthew Stafford | 256 | 2 |
| Derek Carr | 302 | 2 |
| Aaron Rodgers | 212 | 2 |
| Russell Wilson | 274 | 3 |
| Carson Palmer | 310 | 2 |
