There are 10 active quarterbacks who’ve started at least eight postseason games – at least a half season’s worth of action. Of that group, only three have averaged at least 2 TDs per game, and two of them are in action today. Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady.
Rodgers in 12 playoff games has an impressive 25-7 ratio of TDs to interceptions. That’s remarkable, considering the level of competition in the playoffs.
Tom Brady has thrown 53 TDs and 26 interceptions in his 29 career playoff starts. That’s just short of 2 TD passes per game, but Brady also has run for 3 TDs.
Drew Brees has been the other prolific postseason quarterback of recent years, averaging 322 yards in his 11 playoff games, with a 24-6 ratio of touchdowns to interception.
If you convert stats into fantasy numbers and use standard scoring, Brees, Rodgers and Brady have posted the best numbers of the quarterbacks who’ve seen a good chunk of action.
