The Drew Brees guy, he’s pretty special. He now has a record 30 career games with 300-plus yards, at least 3 TD passes and no interceptions. Those are hard to do. Over four times as many, believe it or not as either Dan Marino or Dan Fouts.
It’s just one measure of greatness, of course. Johnny Unitas and Fran Tarkenton, among others were great in their day – and were playing a completely different game. But Brees has made his mark. The combination of Brees, Sean Payton and a deep cast of pass catchers has been tough to beat.
