Carson Palmer has looked pretty cooked in a lot of games this season. He's been especially poor on the road, winless in three games where he had to take a plane ride to get there. He's playing at Atlanta this week, and the Falcons are just 30th against the pass. Can he be trusted?

On the one hand, Palmer did finish with nice numbers in a road game at Carolina. He threw for 363 yards and 3 TDs in that game.

But on the other hand, his lack of mobility and tendency to force things is working against him. In those three road games, he's tended to bleed sacks, interceptions and fumbles.

Few will forget how awful he was in the NFC Championship game at Carolina in January. He threw 4 interceptions, lost 2 fumbles, and took 3 sacks.

If you start Palmer, you're hoping he can take advantage of Atlanta's suspect secondary before he gets knocked out of the game.
