Anquan Boldin is 36 years old, but he's not looking to retire. He hopes to sign with a team right before training camp. Recently, two prospective suitors, the Ravens (Jeremy Maclin) and Titans (Eric Decker) signed veterans, probably taking them out of the picture for Boldin. But someone should bite, and why not -- there's evidence he's still got some game left.
Boldin played for the Lions last year, catching 67 passes and 8 TDs. The scoring is impressive since he did it on just 95 targets -- touchdowns on 8.4 percent of the passes thrown his way. Of the 29 wide receivers to catch at least 5 TDs last year, only two did so on a higher percentage of their targets than Boldin, both of whom were working with Aaron Rodgers (whose 40 TD passes led the league).
The table below shows all wideouts with at least 5 TD receptions last year, sorted by the percentage of their targets they scored on.
