Looks like Seattle Michael Bennetts claims of racial profiling was completely fabericated. This looks like a perfect example of the police walking on egg shells these days.Black lives matter protests which include on their knees during the National Anthem will go on but if you think about it,most police have been found innocent in a jury trial. My point is it,looks like Bennett is a liar and for sure a exaggerator looking for attention which may have back fired.SAD!

Hey Ben the cops told everyone to run and get out of the building and then they ran past about 50 people to tackle the biggest scariest looking black guy and put a gun to his head and not explain why after he asked many times. Of course all this with the body cameras turned off. News for you just because the police chief says it was a good arrest doesn't make it so. And this is coming from a 61 year old white guy. I have been on to you since your racial rant in the Trivia Section on September 13 about your problems about blacks and African Americans and people called you out on this. You commented about how you can get refunds from DirecTV . If you are so disgusted by what the players are doing then why did it take you a year after Kaepernick started this to be offended by this? Trump? You have dogged me many times on this site when I have questioned something. I thought it should be your turn. This isn't even football it is Fantasy Football and it is suppose to be fun and Ian and Andy make it great. Ben how about from here on we keep this about football and bitch about all the other stuff on some other site and if you are so disgusted with the NFL players then why are you still here talking about them

Good chance none of us will ever know what happened in the casino. Reading the story, there's certainly nothing in the followup that indicates Bennett is a liar.

I think we should give the police the benefit of the doubt once in a while. They have a horrible stressful job.How would you like being a police officer on graveyard in Chicago or Detroit these days?Dennis, this has everything to do with theNFl.They have a big problem that is not going away untill the players grow up and respect this Country we all live in.Watch the ratings drop. Also Dennis you should maybe take a Midol.

Dennis,As for your question on Kaepernick, the NFL and owners did that for me.He is history.I dont see any players kneeling anymore by the way.No direct tv and quick draw on the remote on ESPN and CBS if they do.Last couple game, I saw them standing.

Benefit of the doubt works both ways. I think it is fair to say that Michael Bennett was not in the process of shooting up a casino when he was handcuffed and put into a police vehicle, so the NFL player deserves some here, as well.

I'm thinking a weekly update post is the best place to ask this question. I think I remember Josh Gordon was going to have another appeal heard at the end of September, yet I can't find anything about it anywhere. I picked him up as a flyer in two leagues. Have you guys heard anything?

James, I don't know the exact process (not sure anyone does). I think Gordon (his agent) submits paperwork to apply for reinstatement, and the league (Goodell) reviews it and then makes a determination. It's never seemed like things move quickly; there's no right to a speedy trial or whatever. These decisions usually get made early in the week, Monday or Tuesday, so that players can get in a normal week of practice. But I'm not sure anyone knows when the NFL will make a decision in this matter.
