Getting this up a day late; the good news is that it saves me from considering, say, the Bills Defense, Stephen Hauschka, or LeSean Freaking McCoy. Every once in a while you get a wild Thursday night shootout, but more often it seems you get one of those games where one team just totally fails to show up. Anyway, I've been moving up the leaderboard lately (I had a long way to go...), so let's keep things going.

You can enter under Your Stuff at the top right of the screen. It's similar to our old SuperLeague competition, except you're prevented from using sure-fire, slam-dunk superstars, like everyone playing the thrilling Dolphins-Ravens game tomorrow night.

Quarterback: Deshaun Watson was blacked out; he's out all right. And six quarterbacks are on byes. But I will go with Drew Brees against Tampa Bay and Russell Wilson against Washington, and won't spend too much time thinking about it.

Running back: No Todd Gurley or Lamar Miller (guessing he won't be blacked out much going forward, Houston's offense is headed for a fall). But I will eagerly take Leonard Fournette at home against Cincinnati, and Kareem Hunt at Dallas. I know Hunt hasn't scored in a while, that just means he's due in my eyes. I did consider rolling the dice with Alfred Morris, and Mark Ingram is also under consideration. But going with the featured guys when I can.

Wide receiver: Nobody is blacked out, so a lot of big names available. I'm taking a few of them: Mike Evans and Michael Thomas in the same game, which should be fairly high scoring, and then Doug Baldwin, who I think will get a few extra looks after having a lesser game than Seattle's other two wide receivers last week.

Tight end: No Kelce or Ertz, and of course Gronk is on a bye. I'm going to use Evan Engram for about the fifth week in a row, and Jimmy Graham, although I have mixed feelings about using so much of the Seattle passing game. But that's where I am right now.

Kicker: Harrison Butker and Wil Lutz. No need to overthink this one, they're doing great, their teams have matchups with soft defenses, decent chance both will win and score plenty of kicking points.

Defense: Jacksonville is blacked out..wait a minute, they're not. So that's a given, and so is the Eagles Defense. At home. Against Brock Osweiler.

Good luck to the rest of you.
