The Sunday morning injury updates are rolling in, and there are a few useful ones. Most notably from Houston, Green Bay, Detroit and Minnesota, where it seems likely that a number of players will be in the lineup, or sidelined.
For Green Bay, Geronimo Allison was sidelined again on Saturday. He hasn't cleared the concussion protocol, and has a hamstring injury to boot. Davante Adams (calf) is expected to be fine as the No. 1, but with Randall Cobb definitely and Allison probably inactive, Marquez Valdes-Scantling has some value as the likely No. 2 in a good matchup at Detroit.
Same game, Marvin Jones (ankle) is expected to play. The last time Jones came into a game questionable with an injury was against New England. He played throughout and caught a touchdown, so Jones looks safe to use.
For Minnesota, Dalvin Cook is unlikely to play. They're facing a really tough Eagles run defense, so Latavius Murray being more of a full-time back doesn't really make him terribly appealing. Minnesota will need to pass a ton regardless, but it will be without Cook available.
The news is more complicated for Houston, which plays the night game against Dallas. Lamar Miller (chest) isn't expected to play, which should make Alfred Blue a full-time running back. Tough matchup, but Sean Lee is out for Dallas, which helps. Will Fuller (hamstring) is expected to be fine for this one. But Keke Coutee (hamstring) is a gametime decision -- do not consider Coutee unless you have another option in the same game or the Monday night contest who you can switch to if Coutee is inactive.
Sammy Watkins (hamstring) is expected to play for Kansas City, so my pickup of Chris Conley appears to have been a waste of time.
Also expected to play: Matt Breida (shoulder) and Larry Fitzgerald (hamstring) in the Arizona-San Francisco game.
