Question

The Patriots play at Chicago on Sunday. Who is the only quarterback who has started games for both of these teams?

Answer

Doug Flutie. The Bears (as Super Bowl champions) controversially traded for Flutie during the 1986 season, rankling some of their veterans. He played in four games for them, with one start. He was traded the next year to New England, starting 13 games in three years. He spent the next eight seasons in the CFL, winning three Grey Cups and named the league's most outstanding player six times.
