Question

Who’s the only player in the Super Bowl era that’s gone for 175-plus receiving yards three times against the same opponent?

Answer

T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts. Hilton went for 199 yards against Houston just over a month ago. In the 2014 and 2017 seasons, Hilton had games with 223 and 175 yards against them. These teams, of course, play again on Saturday. Two other players have done this, and both come from way back. Charley Hennigan did it for the Oilers against the Patriots in the early ‘60s, and Homer Jones did it for the Giants and Washington. Jones’ big games came in 1965, 1967 and 1968 (the first Super Bowl was played after the 1966 season).
