Question
The Ravens have added Dez Bryant to their active roster, and that’s surprising in that Bryant is 32 and hasn’t even played in the last two years. The Cowboys released him after the 2017 season. On this front, who’s the only player who’s caught some NFL passes, gone consecutive seasons without catching any passes, then come out of nowhere to go for 1,105 yards as a 29-year-old? The player, believe it or not, played for the Baltimore Ravens.
Answer
Qadry Ismail. Ismail played sparingly for the Dolphins and Saints in the 1997-98 seasons. In 1999, he caught 68 passes for 1,105 yards and 6 TDs for the Ravens (highlighted by a game at Pittsburgh with 6 catches for 258 yards and 3 TDs).
