Question

Antonio Brown led the league in receiving yards with the Steelers. Now he’ll start in a Super Bowl with a different team (if healthy; Brown is trying to work through a knee injury). Who is the last other wide receiver to do this? Looking for someone other than Jerry Rice (who led the league in receiving with San Francisco and played in a Super Bowl with the Raiders). This player led the league in receiving yards in 2004 and later played in a Super Bowl with another team. This player is one of the few who has scored touchdowns for two different teams in Super Bowls.

Answer

Muhsin Muhammad. Muhammad had 1,405 receiving yards with Carolina in 2004. In part because of that big season, he signed a free agent deal with Chicago, playing for them in a Super Bowl against Indianapolis. Muhammad caught touchdowns in both of his Super Bowl appearances (losses against the Patriots and Colts).
