Question
LeVeon Bell and LeSean McCoy both have had seasons with over 2,000 combined yards with other teams. Now they’re going to the Super Bowl (albeit in reserve roles). Who is the only other player who’s gone over 2,000 combined yards with one team, then carried the ball in a Super Bowl with a different franchise?
Answer
Marshall Faulk. Faulk finished with 2,227 yards for the Colts in 1998. After a trade to St. Louis, he played in two Super Bowls with the Rams. (McCoy was a remember of the KC team that won the championship last year but didn't actually play in the game.)
