Question

Who was the last player to finish a season as the highest-scoring quarterback (standard scoring) but who otherwise never ranked in the top 10 in scoring at his position? Obviously not looking for a Hall of Fame guy like Brady, Brees or Manning. This was a lesser guy – a former 10th-round pick who just put together one magical season.

Answer

Don Majkowski (Packers, 1989). His career was altered when he suffered a torn rotator cuff the following season.
