It's the midway point of our Experts Leagues, so a quick check in as to how those various teams are doing. We checked in on the Auction last week, and now the Draft league. Bob Henry of Footballguys leads, but it's anyone's competition, with David Gonos of The Athletic close behind.

Drafting from the 6th spot, Henry started out with a nice duo of second-year backs, Jonathan Taylor and D'Andre Swift. He also hit on three straight wide receiver picks (Keenan Allen, Amari Cooper and Tyler Lockett), then grabbed Dak Prescott. His No. 3 running back could be huge the rest of the way (James Conner). He's been fortunate with injuries so far.

Gonos hasn't been as fortunate with injuries, since two of his top three running backs were David Montgomery and Raheem Mostert. But Montgomery is back for the second half of the season, he's got a top option at quarterback (Tom Brady), and his wide receivers have worked out (Adams, Godwin, and a couple of nice later picks in Michael Pittman and Jaylen Waddle).

Fantasy Index Open representative David Aikenhead has Cooper Kupp (you knew he had to be on one of the leader's teams), and most of his early picks have been solid: Kelce, Fournette, Damien Harris, and he does well when the Bills do well, with the Allen-Diggs-Beasley stack. Hendricks is tied for 3rd, and glancing at his team it sure looks like he made his key pick in the 17th round: Cordarrelle Patterson. Deebo Samuel and a solid group of running backs (when healthy) have also helped.

Full standings below. In this league (PPR scoring) you get best-ball lineups of 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE-PK-Defense. You play every other team each week, and the highest score goes 11-o. After Week 17, we'll crown a champion.
