ASK THE EXPERTS appears weekly from training camp through the Super Bowl with answers to a new question being posted Thursday morning. How the guest experts responded when we asked them: Who will be the Fantasy Super Bowl MVP?

SAM HENDRICKS

Johnathan Taylor. He is head and shoulders above most running backs this season and thus a significant advantage as many at the position have disappointed due to injury or COVID. I know I would feel much better if I owned him than faced him in my Championship. The Colts play Las Vegas at home and Carson Wentz may miss the game. Need I say more. A heavy dose of JT is what Indy will use.

Hendricks is the author of Fantasy Football Guidebook, Fantasy Football Tips and Fantasy Football Basics, all available at ExtraPointPress.com, at all major bookstores, and at Amazon and BN.com. He is a 25-year fantasy football veteran who participates in the National Fantasy Football Championship (NFFC) and finished 7th and 16th overall in the 2008 and 2009 Fantasy Football Players Championship (FFPC). He won the Fantasy Index Open in 2013 and 2018.

DAVID DOREY

Week 17, give me Nick Chubb who not only mixes in three receptions with his 20+ carries, but faces the Steelers who have been absolutely blown up by running backs here at the end of the season. The Steelers look like they have thrown the terrible towel in a while back and are just going through the motions while watching opposing running backs pass on by.

Dorey co-founded The Huddle.com in 1997. He's ranked every player and projected every game for the last 23 years and is the author of Fantasy Football: The Next Level. David has appeared on numerous radio, television, newspaper and magazines over the last two decades.

IAN ALLAN

I like Davante Adams and Cooper Kupp. With Kupp, there’s the added bonus of him being 17 catches for 230 yards short of the single-season records for catches and yards. I think it’s possible they push for those — maybe even make an effort to have him be the first to reach 150 catches for 2,000 yards in a season if they get the chance. But if I’m picking just one, I will go with Jonathan Taylor. He’s been on top of his game, and that offensive line is just blowing people off the ball right now. Playing at home against a lesser Raiders defense, I’m expecting a big game from Taylor.

Allan co-founded Fantasy Football Index in 1987. He and fellow journalism student Bruce Taylor launched the first newsstand fantasy football magazine as a class project at the University of Washington. For more than three decades, Allan has written and edited most of the content published in the magazines, newsletters and at www.fantasyindex.com. An exhaustive researcher, he may be the only person in the country who has watched at least some of every preseason football game played since the early 1990s. Allan is a member of the FSTA Fantasy Sports Hall of Fame and the Fantasy Sports Writers Association Hall of Fame.

ANDY RICHARDSON

The Sunday night primetime game between the Packers and Vikings seems pretty likely to be high-scoring. The earlier meeting was 34-31; the last three meetings have featured an average of 64 total points. Only the possibility of January weather in Green Bay is a concern, but as long as conditions are clear, there will be a lot of top performers in this one. I suspect Davante Adams -- who's scored multiple touchdowns in three straight in the series -- and Aaron Rodgers (who's thrown them, among others) will carry a lot of teams to Super Bowl titles. Dalvin Cook, who got in the end zone 8 times in last year's series (6 TDs and 2 two-point conversions), is another possibility, assuming he's practicing fully this week after last week's bout with COVID.

Richardson has been a contributing writer and editor to the Fantasy Football Index magazine and www.fantasyindex.com since 2002. His responsibilities include team defense and IDP projections and various site features, and he has run the magazine's annual experts draft and auction leagues since their inception.
