Question
This year’s draft is filled with teams holding multiple picks in the first round. In the Super Bowl era, what was the only team to select four players with first-round picks in the same draft?
Answer
New York Jets in 2000 (they picked up two first-round picks by trading Keyshawn Johnson to Tampa Bay, and they received New England’s first-round pick as compensation for Bill Belichick leaving their team to take the Patriots’ head coaching position). The Jets in that draft selected Shaun Ellis 12th, John Abraham 13th, Chad Pennington 18th and Anthony Becht 27th.
