The Sunday morning injury updates are coming in, which are often a good indication of what people's risk tolerance is. Sometimes teams make players active who aren't fully healthy, and then play them limited snaps -- or maybe full-time. Different fantasy coaches will have different ideas of what's a tolerable risk level.

  • George Kittle (groin) isn't expected to play. So glad I ignored the injury risk by drafting the guy. Remember, some believe there's no such thing as "injury prone."

  • Allen Lazard (ankle) also isn't expected to play. The mystery of how the wide receiver depth chart will shake out in Green Bay is delayed for another week, at least, or maybe the remaining wideouts will be so good that Lazard has missed his chance. Probably not, but we'll see. In general, going forward players listed as doubtful, like Lazard, won't be mentioned here. Those guys almost never play, except when coaches are being jerks.

  • Ken Walker (hernia) is listed as questionable, still, for Seattle Monday night. I can't believe there's anyone who was actually hoping to put Walker into a lineup this week, but if there was, you should really be looking for an alternative.

  • Chris Godwin (knee) might be active, but on a pitch count. If you really don't have another option in Week 1 but a WR coming off a torn ACL who might play limited snaps, I guess go ahead. But the official recommendation is to find another option.

  • Conflicting reports on Jakobi Meyers (knee). Sounds like he might be active, but could be limited. Don't use Meyers.

  • Michael Thomas (hamstring) and Drake London (knee) are expected to play in the Saints-Falcons game. No indication those guys will be limited, although I guess aggravation of the injuries is always possible.

If I see anything majorly surprising between now and the early kickoffs, I'll post in the comments below.
